From 1977 - 1979, the V8 engine carbureted, in 1980 to 1982 the engine got fuel injection.

Ferrari 246 GTS & GT Chairs & Flares

There were specific design changes, a wider track, that required a 7.5-inch Campagnolo alloys wheels specifically sand-cast from Elektron magnesium alloy which made the wheels lighter. The fenders were flared (“Flares”) to accommodate the wheels. These cars also had Daytona seats (“Chairs”).The limited production consisted of 150 GTS models of 90 were sent to the US. The Chairs & Flares coupes had a very low product, 20 for the world, 5 for the Untied states
